Leaping Cauchy numbers

Abstract

We introduce leaping Cauchy numbers, that are generalizations of the analogous numbers to Euler numbers, as Cauchy numbers corresponds to Bernoulli numbers, in particular, in terms of determinant expressions. 
We also give several properties including sums of products.
