Common Fixed Point Theorems For Generalized Orthogonal Contrctions

Abstract

Fixed point theory began with Banach Contraction Principle in complete metric spaces. Completeness is major and important condition for fixed point theorems. In this paper, we define orthogonal-(E.A) property and give a generalized contraction for two mappings. We prove common fixed point theorems for mappings satisfying orthogonal (E.A)-property without completeness in orthogonal metric spaces.
