Barreledness in Locally Convex Direct Sum Cones

Abstract

We investigate the direct sum of barrel subsets in locally convex
cones and present necessary and sufficient conditions for the
barrelness of subsets in direct sum cones. This leads us to prove a
direct sum locally convex cone topology is barreled if and only if
its components are barreled.
