ON THE ROOTS OF FIBONACCI POLYNOMIALS

Abstract

In this paper, we investigate Fibonacci polynomials as complex
hyperbolic functions. Using this, we examine the roots of Fibonacci
polynomials. Also, we give some interesting identities about images of
the roots of Fibonacci polynomials under another member of Fibonacci
polynomials class. Finally, we obtain some amazing relationships between
the roots of Fibonacci polynomials and the modular group, Hecke
groups, generalized Hecke groups with geometric interpretations.
