An iterative method for computing the pseudoinverse operator in Hilbert spaces

Abstract


In this paper we construct an iterative method, based on classical Newton method, for approximating the pseudoinverse of a linear bounded operator with closed range between Hilbert spaces. The method is always convergent and, moreover, we obtain an estimation of the error. Also we consider the behavior of the method when the iterates are subject to perturbations.
