Abnormalities in scalation are common in lizards. Bilateral asymmetries are frequent, as are supernumeraryscales. Factors possibly responsible for such developmental anomalies are inbreeding and environmentalstress. Here, we report two cases of accessory femoral pores in a Podarcis muralis from Southern Serbia.
