A Generalization of Parametric Metric Spaces via $\mathcal{B}$-actions

Abstract

In this study, we introduce a new concept of $\theta$-parametric metric space as a generalization of metric and parametric metric space.  We also prove some fixed point theorems for self-mappings defined in the context of such spaces. The utility of our findings is further demonstrated by some examples and some illustrated remarks. The findings presented extend and generalise several existing findings in the literature.
