Novel solution bounds for the continuous and discrete algebraic Riccati equations in Hilbert space

Abstract

In this study, we define new solution bounds for the infinite-dimensional solutions to the algebraic Riccati equation.
We first suggest an upper bound for the continuous solution. After that, we develop upper and lower bounds for the algebraic Riccati equation in discrete time.
We provide a robust control application.
