Reverse order laws and absorption laws of the weak group inverse

Abstract

In proper $\ast$-rings, reverse order laws of the weak group inverse are investigated under certain conditions. Some new equivalent characterizations which ensure that reverse order laws of the weak group inverse hold are presented. Finally, absorption laws of the weak group inverse are studied.
