An improvement of recent results in controlled metric type spaces

Abstract

Using control functions introduced by
Sintunavarat et al. [W. Sintunavarat, Y. J. Cho, P. Kumam, Common fixed point theorems for c-distance in ordered cone metric spaces, Comput. Math. Appl. 62 (2011), 1969-1978], we present and improve some recent fixed point results in the class of controlled metric type spaces. We also illustrate the presented results by some nontrivial examples.
