Function characterizations of some spaces in which compacta are $G_{\delta}$

Abstract

We use real-valued functions to give characterizations of some topological spaces in which compact subsets are (regular) $G_{\delta}$, such as c-stratifiable spaces, kc-semi-stratifiable spaces. Also, characterizations of some other spaces such as K-semimetrizable spaces, strongly first countable spaces are obtained.
