Abstract

Mixed convection in magnetohydrodynamic second grade nanofluid flow through a porous medium containing nanoparticles and gyrotactic microorganisms with chemical reaction is considered showing the stratification phenomena, heat and mass transfer. Microorganisms are utilized to stabilize the suspended nanoparticles through bioconvection which is induced by the gravity. For the constructive (or generation) chemical reaction, the mass transfer displays an increasing behavior. Ordinary differential equations together with the boundary conditions are obtained through similarity variables from the governing equations of the problem, which are solved by the HAM (Homotopy Analysis Method). The solution is expressed through graphs and illustrated which show the influences of all the parameters.
