One-Dimensional Schrodinger Operator with a Negative Parameter and Its Applications to the Study of the Approximation Numbers of a Singular Hyperbolic Operator

Abstract

In this paper we use the one-dimensional Schr\"odinger operator with a negative parameter to the study the approximation numbers of a singular hyperbolic operator. Estimates for the distribution function of the approximation numbers are obtained in the paper.
