Efficient Reliability Estimation in Two-Parameter Exponential Distributions

Abstract

This article concerns reliability estimation in two-parameter exponential distributions setup. Based on the uniformly minimum variance unbiased estimator, we propose a new estimator and study its theoretical properties. Simulation results reveal that the suggested estimator could be highly efficient.
