Modified Laguerre Matrix Polynomials

Abstract

In this study, we introduce the class of modified Laguerre matrix polynomials. Some formulas related to an explicit representation, matrix recurrence relations and Rodrigues formula are deduced. Several families of bilinear and bilateral generating matrix functions for modified Laguerre matrix polynomials are derived. Finally by examining the explicit representation of both Laguerre matrix polynomials and modified Laguerre matrix polynomials, we give a generalization for Laguerre-type matrix polynomials.
