Optimization of a Nonlinear Hermitian Matrix Expression with Application

Abstract

Extremal ranks and inertias of a nonlinear Hermitian matrix expression are established over a complex field $\mathbb{C}$. In addition, the constraint extremal ranks and inertias of the nonlinear matrix function are also observed. Our research extends the already done work in the literature.
