KATO DECOMPOSITION THEOREM FOR LINEAR PENCILS

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to give a Kato decomposition, associated to a pair of operators, which removes the jump at the origin. Exactly we will give the class of linear pencils having a constant jump as a generalization of upper semi-Fredholm pencils and we get a Kato decomposition related to this class.
