The group inverse and Moore-Penrose inverse of the product of two elements and generalized inverse in a ring with involution

Abstract

In this paper, using the expression form of the group inverse and Moore-Penrose inverse for the product of two elements, we present some new characterizations of EP elements, partial isometries, SEP elements, normal elements and hermitian elements in a ring with involution.
