NEW MODIFIED BASKAKOV OPERATORS BASED ON INVERSE POLYA-EGGENBERGER DISTRIBUTION

Abstract

In the present article we introduce some modifications of Baskakov operators in sense of Lupas operators based on inverse Polya-Eggenberger distribution. For these new modifications of Baskakov operators, we derive some direct results concerning uniform convergence and asymptotic formula, respectively we give quantitative type theorems in order to get the degree of approximation.
