TENSOR APPROACH TO FINDING A BASIC FEASIBLE SOLUTION OF THE TRANSPORTATION PROBLEM

Abstract

A new metric tensor-based approach to transportation problem is used in this paper. We used the North West Corner Rule and Minimum-cost Method with the application of tensor calculus to generalize this problem. As a test example, we analyzed the 3x3 time-dependent transformation of prices with respect to data transfer.
